CME 402. Geometric Design of Highway Facilities. 3 or 4 hours.
Elements of geometric design: driver and roadway system characteristics, sight distance and stopping sight distance, design of horizontal and vertical alignments, cross sections, earthwork, intersections and interchanges, and pavement design. Course Information: 3 undergraduate hours. 4 graduate hours. Prerequisite(s): CME 302; and CME 297 or ME 250; and CME 290; or consent of the instructor.
