A survey of classical German thought and history through literature, philosophy, and culture. Course Information: Taught in English. No knowledge of German required. Students who intend to use GER 240 toward an undergraduate major or minor in the Department of Germanic Studies will do assignments in German. Individual and Society course, and Past course.
