Provides students with an introduction to the mechanics and uses of derivatives, as well as their complex and dynamic regulatory and legal landscape. Course Information: Same as JD 527. Prerequisite(s): JD 401, and JD 405, and JD 406, and JD 407, and JD 411, and JD 414, and JD 415, and JD 416; and LAW 402 or LAW 403 or LAW 404; and LAW 412 or LAW 413.

Student teams work with community partners to address real-world policy issue negatively impacting health. Goal is developing policy materials to advance healthier contexts for children, families, and communities. Weekly seminar included. Course Information: Extensive computer use required. Field work required. Class Schedule Information: To be properly registered, students must enroll in one Lecture-Discussion and one Practice.
