An introduction to both classical and modern Arabic literature in the original language. Arabic rhetoric. Intensive listening, speaking, reading and writing at an intermediate to advanced level. Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in ARAB 104; or appropriate score on the department placement test or the equivalent AP Test score, or if taking as an elective, the consent of the instructor.
