Coverage of the principles of analytical chemistry, including the use of instrumentation. Course Information: Credit is not given for CHEM 116 if the student has credit in CHEM 112 or CHEM 122 and CHEM 123. Prerequisite(s): Superior performance on the UIC chemistry placement examination.
