An introductory statistics course through the lens of medical, biological, and public health disciplines. Topics covered include study design, sampling, descriptive statistics and basic hypothesis tests for comparing groups. Course Information: Extensive computer use required. Prerequisite(s): Satisfactory grade in MATH 090, or passing grade in MATH 108, or appropriate score on the department placement test. Class Schedule Information: To be properly registered, students must enroll in one Lecture and one Discussion. Natural World - No Lab course.
