No more than 6 of the 12 hours of business courses required for the minor may be counted toward major requirements. The remaining hours may be counted toward the business elective requirement.
CBA majors may not apply ACTG 210 toward the minor.

Prerequisites for Non-Business Students
There are no prerequisites courses to enroll in the minor in sports management. Certain elective courses may have prerequisite courses that should be satisfied before enrolling.
Enrollment Residence Requirement for the Minor
Students must complete at least half of the coursework for the minor field in residence at the University of Illinois Chicago. A 2.00/4.00 grade point average is required for the declaration of the minor and for all work completed in the minor.
