DBCS 311. Biomedical and Clinical Sciences in Dentistry I. 11 hours.

Normal structure and function of body systems; detailed discussion of the musculoskeletal system; normal structure and function of the stomatognathic, central and peripheral nervous systems; normal structure and function of integument and immune system. Detailed discussion of the cardiovascular and pulmonary systems; structure and function of the gastrointestinal, hemopoietic and immune system with microbial infections; structure and function of the endocrine, reproductive and urinary systems. DBCS 324. Biomedical and Clinical Sciences in Dentistry IV. 9 hours.

Assessment of systemic diseases and conditions that affect orofacial health and/or oral health care: Hemopoietic and immune systems and microbial infections; Endocrine and reproductive systems; Integration of systems and multi-system diseases. DBCS 327. Biomedical and Clinical Sciences in Dentistry V. 6 hours.
