A ophthalmology clinical rotation focuses on the proper performance of a basic comprehensive eye examination. This will enable students to evaluate various ocular complaints and to better diagnose eye diseases. Course Information: Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.
COPT 690. Away Rotation in Opthalmology. 1-15 hours.
An elective in Ophthalmology taken outside the University of Illinois College of Medicine with prior approval. Course Information: May be repeated. Students may enroll in more than one section per term. Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.
COPT 694. Special Topics in Opthalmology. 1-15 hours.
Special or new topics in Ophthalmology. Course Information: May be repeated. Students may enroll in more than one section per term. Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.
COPT 696. Individualized Elective in Ophtalmology. 1-15 hours.
Individualized elective in Ophthalmology under the supervision of a faculty member or physician to fit students' interests or customized experiences with prior approval.
