This Emergency Medicine elective is designed to help incorporate emergency bedside ultrasound as a tool for diagnosis and treatment.  Current literature and future applications of emergency bedside ultrasound will be explored while on rotation. CEMD 602. Medical Toxicology. 4 hours.

The main objective of this elective is to introduce the senior medical student to the specialty of clinical toxicology. Course Information: Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.

CEMD 640. Core Emergency Medicine. 4 hours.

This elective will be a beginning exposure to the evaluation and care of outpatient dermatology patients as well as an opportunity to learn from scheduled formal lectures, conferences, journal clubs, and inpatient consultations. CEMD 641. Advanced Emergency Medicine. 4 hours.

To provide in depth EM knowledge to students interested in the specialty as a career path. Students will be expected to manage their own patients within the limits of the ED setting with oversight by EM attendings and senior residents. Course Information: Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.

CEMD 642. Advanced Emergency Medicine (ACMC). 4 hours.
