The Radiation Oncology Elective will provide the student with an excellent experience in an academic Radiation Oncology Department. The student will learn the fundamentals of oncology, radiobiology, and physics as it pertains to radiation therapy. Course Information: Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.

CRON 690. Away Rotation in Radiation Oncology. 1-15 hours.

An elective in Radiation Oncology taken outside the University of Illinois College of Medicine with prior approval. Course Information: May be repeated. Students may enroll in more than one section per term. Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.

CRON 694. Special Topics in Radiation Oncology. 1-15 hours.

Special or new topics in Radiation Oncology. Course Information: May be repeated. Students may enroll in more than one section per term. Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.

CRON 696. Individualized Elective in Radiation Oncology. 1-15 hours.

Individualized elective in Radiation Oncology under the supervision of a faculty member or physician to fit students' interests or customized experiences with prior approval.
