PEMD 640. Introduction to Emergency Medicine. 4 hours.
The main goal of this course is to develop the skills of the M3/M4 student in the diagnosis and management of an
undifferentiated patient in an emergency department setting. Course Information: Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 2nd Year.
PEMD 641. Advanced Emergency Medicine. 4 hours.
The elective is for students who are entering the field of Emergency Medicine. Students
will assume intern level responsibility for patient care. Course Information: Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.
PEMD 660. Clinical Simulation. 4 hours.
The Jump Trading Simulation and Education Center provides an
outstanding opportunity for students interested in academic careers to participate in the use of simulation technology to
