PNEU 601. Sleep Disorders. 2-4 hours.
This elective is designed to introduce the student to the field of sleep disorders and allow her/him to understand the basic clinical aspects as well as the impact upon the patient and society. Course Information: Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.
PNEU 602. Vestibular Neurology. 2-4 hours.
Students will observe patients with staff physicians, and gain exposure to Humphrey and Goldmann visual fields, optical coherence tomography, fundus photography, and the neuro-ophthalmologic exam Course Information: Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.
PNEU 603. Inpatient Neurology. 4 hours.
This elective will provide the student with the opportunity to work alongside the inpatient neurology residents to care for patients in the general neurology, neurology ICU, and stroke services. Course Information: Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.
PNEU 690. Away Rotation in Neurology. 1-15 hours.
An elective in Neurology taken outside the University of Illinois College of Medicine with prior approval. Course Information: May be repeated. Students may enroll in more than one section per term. Field work required. Prerequisite(s): Completion of 3rd Year.

Individualized elective in Neurology under the supervision of a faculty member or physician to fit students' interests or customized experiences with prior approval.
